Inflammatory language refers to the one used to make the audience angry, the one that excites them and cause tumult or disorder. In the communist era in Russia, great leaders as Staling used this type of language to arouse the masses. To achieve this, the best way was using <em>pathos </em>as it appeals to the audience's emotions. In this way, Stalin appealed to their nacionalism and their duty to defend their country from menaces. People were persuaded to do things by appealing to their sense of duty, something that fits with the <em>pathos </em>persuasion mode.
