Answer:

0

Explanation:

assets balances for plant and equipment (net) is $29500 while patent (net) is $14000

cost of assets = $29,500 + $14,000 =$43,500

Depreciation per year = cost of asset - salvage value

useful life of an asset

there is no salvage value indicated to calculate depreciation as well as useful live indicated.

for amortisation, which is the process of reducing the value of an asset or the balance of a loan by a periodic amount. it can be said that the information needed to answer the question is insufficient,

A farmer who has grown corn for the past five years notices in the sixth year that his harvest is significantly smaller, despite
Galina-37 [17]

The right option is; a. soil degradation

Soil degradation most plausibly accounts for the reduction in corn yield.

Soil degradation is an environmental problem in which the condition or quality of soil is reduced due to its improper use usually for agricultural or industrial purposes. Soil degradation can reduce the physical, chemical and biological quality of soil. Soil degradation results in loss of organic matter, soil contamination, fertility decline, and soil acidity or alkalinity which can greatly affect agricultural productivity.

During the french and Indian war France and Great Britain fought for control of north America territory what impact did the end
artcher [175]

In the short-term, The French-Indian War or The Seven Years War expanded the British colonial territory in North America by an enormous amount and removed potential competitors in early westward expansion. In the long-term, it resulted in extreme national debt in Britain, bringing about dictatorial control of its colonies so it could alleviate economic stress. First came the passing of the Proclamation of 1763, which stopped all westward movement by its American colonies past the Appalachian Mountains (they hoped to make Native Americans and the Spanish buy land), then several new Acts like the Stamp Act were passed which taxed goods like paper, and eventually, as some historians interpret, led to the American Revolution.

why is it important to know the source of energy in convection currents to understand plate tectonic theory
Lera25 [3.4K]

Its important to know the source of energy in convection currents because it is what drives the movement of the plates, formation of plate boundaries, and hot spots.

Explanation:

The convection currents are currents that occur in the mantle layer. The prime reason as to why they appear is the difference of heat and pressure between the upper and lower mantle. The energy itself exist because of the core of the Earth, as it is very hot and it has extremely high pressure, so it heavily influences the mantle layer above it.

The importance of understanding the energy source of convection currents is seen in that through it we can understand why we have plate boundaries at some places and not in others, why are spreading zones occurring, and why hot spots occur in the middle of the plates, far away from the boundaries. By understanding these things, we can understand the plate tectonics theory, thus the motion of the plates on Earth's surface.
