When Vespucci was young, before he started to explore, he was an apprentice to to his Uncle. Columbus motivated Vespucci to become an explorer. After Vespucci was educated, he sailed on his first voyage, sponsored  by Spain.

German were to pay 6000 million stipends and reduce its army, and hand over their colonies to the league of nation. Germany was not in a capacity to do this and sought loans from the USA.
