The War Powers resolution restricts the power of president of declare war. It establishes the common authority of both president and congress. It was taken in the year of 1973.

The war power resolution was followed from 1973. It is actually a agenda that restricts or limits the power of president to solely declare war or to handle military base. According to the war power resolution Congress and president will have equal power over the military related matter and war related decision.
