<span>The advanced ridership that results from EU support of the Airbus stimulates travel revenue as well as the economies through employment and tourism of many of the EU countries and thus benefits all. The advantages gained by Airbus are that less of its revenue must be spent for operations. It seems disingenuous to accuse the EU of unfairness when the Airbus is a service benefiting several diffferent countries.</span>

Along with news of the Zimmerman telegram threatening an alliance between Germany and Mexico, Wilson asked Congress for a declaration of war against Germany. The U.S. officially entered the conflict on April 6, 1917.
