a word. VOLUMNIUS. What says my lord? BRUTUS. Why this, Volumnius. The ghost of Caesar hath appeared to me Two several times by night—at Sardis once, And this last night, here in Philippi fields. I know my hour is come. VOLUMNIUS. Not so, my lord. BRUTUS. Nay, I am sure it is, Volumnius. Thou seest the world, Volumnius, how it goes. Our enemies have beat us to the pit; [Low alarums] It is more worthy to leap in ourselves Than tarry till they push us. Good Volumnius, Thou know'st that we two went to school together. Even for that, our love of old, I prithee, Hold thou my sword hilts, whilst I run on it. VOLUMNIUS. That's not an office for a friend, my lord. Answer:

The correct answer is: They have to decide whether to help Brutus kill himself

Explanation:

In these two excerpts, we can observe Brutus begging two of his soldiers in two different instances to hold the hilt of his sword so he can run on it and kill himself. Both soldiers (Volumnius and Strato) have to decide whether to help Brutus kill himself but, even though Volumnius knows Brutus since they were children, and due to his obedient nature, only Strato accepts to fulfill Brutus' suicidal wish.

The feature that makes this excerpt a blank verse is that , while it does not present rhyme, it does present iambic pentameter.

Iambic pentamenter consists of lines of five feet, with each foot being two syllables long, one unstressed followed by one stressed syllable. The result is that each verse sounds like it has a heart beat rhythm.

Hello,

I feel that the yellow fever epidemic was such a devastating time. The yellow fever caused many people to lose the lives leaving behind orphaned children to be put into over crowded orphanages.

Not only, the affects of yellow fever had horrible side effects. As stated in the text, “spewing streams of vomit black with digested clots”. The effects of catching yellow fever was dangerous and usually led to death. The extreme temperatures led to a high population of mosquitoes which must have carried the yellow fever.

If you have any questions I will answer them the to the best of my abilities.

Have a great day,
