The goals of the movement were:

the enforcement of treaty rights

the return of illegally seized lands

the return of ancestral artifacts and skeletal remains

Explanation:

Some of the worst atrocities committed against the Indians was that their lands were stolen from them and their heritage was stolen, sold or put up in their homes.

The Movement of the native american was thus aimed at return of the land that was known to be stolen from them and also of the artifacts.

This was also the point that the previous treaty of the safeguard of their land must be upheld.

These were the main aims of the movement.
