The insurance company pays John for the expenses of his injuries and repair of the car. For the injuries, he gets $1000 from the insurance company. For the car repair, he gets $900 - $100 = $800(subtracting deductible clause). All in all, he gets a total of $1800.

The $100 clause will be deducted as Sam was at fault. Thus, the insurance company will cover only $1,000 out of the $1,100 medical expenses.

Earth weight is 5.9736 x 10^24 Kg and Venus is 4.8685 x 10^24 Kg. What is the combined weight of Earth and Venus ?
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

d)1.08421 x 10^25 Kg

Step-by-step explanation:

The combined weight of these two bodies would be the addition of the masses of the two bodies.

Given that Earth weight is 5.9736 x 10^24 Kg and Venus is 4.8685 x 10^24 Kg,

The combined weight of Earth and Venus

= 5.9736 x 10^24 Kg + 4.8685 x 10^24 Kg

=10^24(5.9736 + 4.8685)

= 10.8421  × 10^24 Kg

In standard form,

= 1.08421  × 10^25 Kg
