What did foreign changes present new challenges for the United States
Drupady [299]
There were lots of foreign changes that presented challenges for the US. I'll give you a few examples from different time periods. First would be when England wanted to tax the Americans in the Revolutionary period. They did this to try and restrict America's freedom. Another example would be that Russia had spies during the cold war period. This was to gain intelligence of the US war plans. Also when Germany sent the Zimmerman Telegram to Mexico during the WWII period. This was to get Mexico to launch a surprise attack on the US.

What major event in the pacific theatre during the world war 2 were major turning points for the allied force
Vilka [71]
This is your answer it may be long.Japanese expansion in East Asia began in 1931 with the invasion of Manchuria and continued in 1937 with a brutal attack on China. On September 27, 1940, Japan signed the Tripartite Pact with Germany and Italy, thus entering the military alliance known as the "Axis." Seeking to curb Japanese aggression and force a withdrawal of Japanese forces from Manchuria and China, the United States imposed economic sanctions on Japan. Faced with severe shortages of oil and other natural resources and driven by the ambition to displace the United States as the dominant Pacific power, Japan decided to attack the United States and British forces in Asia and seize the resources of Southeast Asia.

Which statement best describes a challenge in the Roman economy?
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

The tax burden on citizens in Rome was too high

Explanation:

If your options are the following:

Rome had difficulty finding trading partners

Rome lacked resources to build infrastructure

The tax burden on citizens in Rome was too high

Trade competition led to conflict between social classes

The answer is The tax burden on citizens in Rome was too high. Rome had plenty of trade partners, was renowned for its infrastructure, and while there certainly were some conflicts between social classes, taxes were a far greater contributing factor to the fall of the empire, and thus are a better option for the question.

By understanding the Russian Revolution, write out your thoughts on whether they were justified in their take down of the Empire
gavmur [86]

Answer:

This is my personal opinion so you don't need to agree with me.

Explanation:

People were tired. Everyone: -the army because they weren't given enough equipment for the war

-the peasants, workers and the ethnic minorities because the widows and children didn't always receive state war pensions, the living and working conditions were horrible since nobody was getting paid enough

-the middle classes because Duma politicians had been dismissed by the Tsar

-the aristocracy because they suffered terrible losses due to the war and did not like Rasputin

Not only did things not get better, but the people were ignored first by the Tsar then by the Provisional Government. Twice already, the people in power had failed to improve the living conditions of the Russians; People just had to take matters in their own hands and have a leader that understood their current situation. They were ready to die to let their children have a better life.

However, after the Socialists managed to take power, Lenine and the Bolsheviks became too aggressive and Lenine was power-hungry and then he just lost it.

Hope this helped :)
