The words have power to bring life and death in someone's life.

Explanation:

This I learned when my father spoke the words of encouragement to me when I was young. Though, at that time I did not realize how much impact those words will have in my life. But, now, I realize that the words sown in my little heart during my childhood played an important role in my life to know and value my identity.

When my friends used to bully me during school time, I used to come home and cry because of the hurtful things said by my friends. But one day, when I shared this with my father, he comforted me. And imparted the words that I still remember. The words that my father spoke to me were 'YOU ARE NOT WHAT THEY SAY BUT WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU AND HE SAYS THAT YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND LOVED AND LOVABLE'.

These words gave me strength and helped define my identity based on the perception of what my Heavenly Father thinks of me and not what the world says to me.
