68 paramecia are found in an area measuring 2 cm x 3 cm. _____ paramecia/cm2 *
Vladimir79 [104]
So the area is 2x3 cm with 68 paramecia.

Not sure if this is the best way to do it, but I’d do 68/2*3 (68 divided by (2 times 3))

So first 2*3 is 6cm.

Now you’re trying to find paramecia/cm2. You are trying to find a unit rate. That is a value over one.

Then because there are 68p and 6cm, to find the unit rate, you’d do 68/6.

Now you have your unit rate, which is 11.3 repeating, or 11 1/3 as a fraction.

That would be 11.3 (11 1/3) paramecia per cm2

also I’m not 100% sure if this is correct, just wanted to help, so no guarantees

This is a DNA mutation that does not result in a change to the amino acid sequence of a protein.
ohaa [14]

Answer: silence point

A silent point mutation may be an effect of a base-pair substitution (substitution of one base pair with another in DNA). However, silent point mutations are a special case where no amino acids are affected. As a result, since the monomers of proteins are amino acids, there is no change to the sequence of a protein.

A structure is found in stems but not roots is
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

A structure is found in stems but not roots is node (option C).

Explanation:

Nodes are the structures that allow the growth of branches, leaves and flowers from the stem structure. The nodes are usually part of the plant's module, containing meristematic tissue -in the form of buds- that allows the growth of branches and leaves.

Although nodes on the trunk can form adventitious roots, roots do not have nodes.
