False because although gender roles were largely defined in the eighteenth century, women experienced great advances in science. During the nineteenth century, women were excluded from most formal scientific education, but they began to be admitted into learned societies during this period. In the later nineteenth century the rise of the women's college provided jobs for women scientists, and opportunities for education. Marie Curie, the first woman to receive a Nobel Prize in 1903 (physics), went on to become a double Nobel Prize recipient in 1911 (chemistry), both for her work on radiation. Forty women have been awarded the Nobel Prize between 1901 and 2010. 16 women have been awarded the Nobel Prize in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine.
The Ottoman Empire came up with a complex organization of government. They used a Sultan as their ruler/leader and their government was centralized under his direction. The Sultan and his royalty were all part of the ruling class, although wealth was also a measure of power and high class status. Wealth and rank could be inherited but were also often earned.

This is a complex issue. In layman's term Zionism is an ideology that supports the idea of Jewish people having a homeland. Anti-Semitism deals with people who hate the Jewish people.
how they are connected:
- some say that in more modern times the term Zionism is used to cover up the real reason why nations want the Jews out of their country and that is because anti-Semitism is rising throughout Europe again and other parts of the world. So, in a round about way, they are using the positive term and feeling towards the Jewish people, Zionism, to cover up the negative term and feeling towards the Jewish, which is anti-Semitism. Does that make sense?
Hopefully I helped and good luck.
