If this helps, feel free to make it brainliest answer!

The term would be genetic drift.

Genetic drift, also known as allelic drift, is one of the basic mechanisms of evolution, in which random changes in alleles from generation to generation in a population occur.

NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

x = 8.4

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a rectangle is equal to the length times the width.

126 = 5x * 3x

126 = 15x

8.4 = x

Since the side length of the square is equal to x, it is equal to 8.4.

Whoever answers my question will get a brainliest.
Maurinko [17]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the distance d using the distance formula

d = \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^2+(y_{2}-y_{1})^2    }

with (x₁, y₁ ) = ((- 2, - 3 ) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (x, 5x + 9 )

d = \sqrt{(x-(-2))^2+(5x+9-(-3))^2}

   = \sqrt{(x+2)^2+(5x+9+3)^2}

   = \sqrt{(x+2)^2+(5x+12)^2}

Prof Liu gave the same quiz to the students in her morning class and in her afternoon class. the average score for the two class
yaroslaw [1]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that Prof  Liu gave the same quiz to the students in her morning class and in her afternoon class. the average score for the two classes combined was 84.

(1) The average score for the students in the morning class was 80

(2) the average score for the students in the afternoon class was 86

Let m be the no of students in I class and n in II class

Total of I class = 80m and

Total of II class = 86n

Total of both classes = 80m +86n

Average =\frac{80m+86n}{m+n} = 84

m cannot be equal to n because in that case average would have been 83

If m >n, then say n =m+a

then average = \frac{80m+86m+86a}{2m+a} =84

Because 86 is more times added, average score would decrease hence we would not get 84.

So I class is getting less score of 80 to get a score average of more than 83 (the average) the class II should have more students.

theo bought 4 hot dogs and 3 sodas for $6.55. At the same concession stand, vicky bought 2 hot dogs and 5 sodas for $4.85. What
madam [21]
Let the price of a hot dog be h and price os a soda be s dollars. Then we have:-

4h + 3s = 6.55.......................(1)
2h + 5s = 4.85    multiply this equation by -2:-
-4h -10s = -9.70......................(2)

Adding (1) and (2):-

-7s =  -3.15
s = -3.15 / -7 =  0.45

So $0.45 is the price of a soda
To find price of a hot doe plug s = 0.45 into equation (1):-

4h = 3(0.45) = 6.55
4h =  6.55-1.35 = 5.20

h = 5.20 / 4 =  $1.30

The answer is  price hot dog = $1.30

a sixth grade student can complete 20 multiplication facts in one minute if you works at the same rate how long should it take h
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

It should take him <u>1.75 minutes</u> to complete 20 multiplication facts, which is the same thing as 1 minute and 45 seconds, or 105 seconds.

Step-by-step explanation:

a. If it takes him one minute to complete 20 multiplication facts, that's 3 seconds per question, because 60/20 = 3.

b. Multiply 3 x 35 questions to get 105 seconds.

c. Divide 105 seconds by 60 seconds (60 in a minute) to get 1.75 minutes, which is the same thing as 105 seconds.

Hope this helps! Feel free to give me Brainliest if you feel this helped. Have a good day and good luck on your assignment. :)
