The word arpeggio or harpeggio is of Italian origin arpeggio, whose meaning is “in the way of the harp”. Because it is a universal concept, it is valid for all types of instruments and concerns one of the ways in which a chord is played.
An arpeggio is produced when the notes of a given chord are played in succession, one after the other, that is, the notes are played individually.
