The Serbians tried to justify their horrible genocide with a more political term such as "ethnic cleansing" that could have not as the horrendous meaning or project the imagery that the word "murder" has. Under the questionable argument that the Serbians did not want to kill or get rid of Bosnians, they said that what they wanted was to only force them to take them out of the Serbian territory. That is why they tried to use different words that could have a different impact on the international community.
