All of the following are positive strategies for improving self-esteem except
bezimeni [28]
Well by the way you put the question it seems like there are supposed to be answer choices but, since there are none. I'll still try to answer the question as best as possible
1. Comparing yourself to others is a bad way of trying to improve self esteem
2. Overthinking and overworking yourself is a bad way to improve self esteem
3. Trying to raise confidence in yourself takes time so you have to be patient
And that's all I can think of right now but I hope it helps!

Which of the following is not a defense mechanism
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

Panic attack

Explanation:

COMPLETE QUESTION:

Which of the following is not a defense mechanism?

A) Denial

B) Idealization

C)Panic Attack

D)Displacement

Defense mechanism occurs in an unconscious level and done to avoid feelings of anxiety, frustration, or any untoward emotional imbalance. Amoong your choices a panic attack is not a defense mechanism. It is a physiological response to the environment.

Defense mechanisms are supposedly done to "alleviate" the feeling of discomfort. So for example, if you are facing a problem, to avoid it you simply deny you have a problem. This is what we call denial.

Idealization is when you exaggerate the positive attributes of yourself or others to take your mind or other's people view on the negative. For example, you father beats your mother (horrible I know), instead of seeing it as a bad thing, you just say that your father is the man of the house who provides for you so he has the right to blame others and vent out his frustrations.

Another one is displacement, where you vent out on something else because you are unable to do so on your source of frustration. If your boss or your teacher has been yelling at you unjustly all day and you cannot do anything about it, you kick a door instead out of frustration because you cannot go against your suppressor.

Marianna [84]

Answer:

3 factors that influenced the food choice to be unhealthy and lead to a heart attack. I would guess how easy it is to get such unhealthy foods for cheap prices whenever they want. Lack of exercise and lastly not going to the doctor. Avoiding visiting your physician especially when the patient doesn't take action themselves to be healthier is not good. After having a heart attack Richard should avoid certain foods such as Bacon, sausage, and other processed meats. Potato chips and other processed packaged snacks, Dessert, Too much protein, Fast food, Energy drinks, Added salt, and even Coconut oil.

I hope this helps!!
