Holmes thinks it is a good idea because Sir Henry is being followed and it would be easier to find out who if they were at Baskerville Hall instead of in London with millions. there is not alot of people at Baskerville Hall
These two men likely would not long tolerate the other's opinion if put in the same room for any length of time.
