A pure market economy is an economic system which operates with no public interventionism. The interactions of the different economic agents in the markets determine all outcomes: prices of goods and services, total output, quantities of factors of production employed for production (land, labor and capital) and their retributions, etc. If the market outcomes lead to inequality there are no state-managed redistribution systems.
