The countries of Italy, India, and Japan are easy to picture due to their unique shapes. In which continents are they located?
lutik1710 [3]

Italy is located in Europe, India is located in Asia, and Japan is located off the coast of Asia in the North Pacific Ocean.

Italy is a scenic peninsula country jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea. It is nestled in south-central Europe and is home to the most rugged mountain range in the world, the Alps. The country is said to be unique looking because of its shape which resembles a boot. The country's most famous and popular region is Tuscany. Due to its myriad of cultures, cuisines and sceneries, Italy is often referred to as a collection of cultures than a single nation in itself.

India is a peninsula country occupying a greater part of Southern Asia. Known for its vibrant diversity, thousands of ethnicities and hundreds of dialects, India contributes to almost one-sixth of the total world population, making it the second-largest populated country in the world after China.

Archaeological evidence and research have shown that India emerged from the Indus Valley Civilization, namely because of their growth on the banks of the Indus river. This civilization was self-sustained and rich in knowledge, resources, agriculture and wealth, contributing greatly to the rest of the world's progress. Today, India remains one of the most ethnically diverse countries and is strongly involved in most global affairs.

Japan is a string of islands located in the western part of the North Pacific Ocean, off the East Coast of Asia. The majority of the archipelagic country's land is divided into four major islands: Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu, of which Honshu is the largest. The capital, Tokyo is situated in east-central Honshu and is one of the major populated cities of the world. Four-fifth of Japanese land is covered in mountains and is home to volcanoes both active and dormant. Japan's highest mountain, Mount Fuji, is a geologist-classified active volcano. Since the end of WW2, Japan has emerged as one of the most technologically, educationally and economically advanced countries. Their importance towards ancient traditions and customs has made Japan a beautiful hybrid of tradition and modernity.

how would living in a house where space and water are heated solely by the sun influence a person's life?
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

It would reduce the dependence on traditional ways of living.

Explanation:

 • Living in a place were water and space are heated directly by sunlight or sun influence would be quiet interesting and challenging as the sun is the nearest star to planet earth and this star will continue to grow in size, and also the resources on surface of earth are finite and thus any overuse of these resources can lead to their depletion.
 • Use of this solar light or heat is essential as its an inexhaustible resource that can be stored at specific temperatures and used in terms of lightning, billing waters from heat generated by sun photovoltaic cells.
 • The same energy that is needed r warm the surface of the earth falling on rooftops of the house can recharge the energy bill of the entire country for which sun harvesting has to be implemented.
 • Like solar terracing and many farmers and people have done gardening on their roofs and many innovative techniques are being developed for a sustainable future.
