Answer:

Friendship

Explanation:

Throughout the poem, Brontë compares two relationships using plants. When she discusses love, or the wild rose-briar, she mentions how pretty it is, but she makes sure to point out that it won't last. ("But which will bloom more constantly?" "And who will call the wild-briar fair?") When she discusses friendship, or the holly-tree, she points out how it is there for longer, even if it isn't as pretty. She sees love as fleeting yet beautiful, but she sees friendship as reliable and steady. Hope this helps!

Does the bold word introduce a "dialogue quote" or a "flow quote"?
Softa [21]

Answer:

- Flow quote.

Explanation:

The bold words "others want to read, not listen to a concert!" introduces a 'flow quote' as it moves in continuity without any abruption. It could not be characterized as a 'dialogue quote' as it does not quote a conversation between two people which happens in dialogue quotes. <em>Flow quotes are employed to emphasize certain words or ideas using quotation marks without breaking the flow or continuity of ideas.</em> Thus, the given quotation would exemplify a '<u>flow quote'.</u>
