The correct answer is number line B.

Explanation:

We are given the inequality x >= -7, that means we have to represent on a number line all numbers that are greater than -7, including -7. that is correctly represented on the number line B, because the black full dot means that -7 is included and the direction of the line goes in the way which is greater than -7.

Hope this helps!

Well first youll have to flip the equation so i'll be x ≥ −7

On the graph you would start at point -7. Since it's greater or equal to sign the dot would be solid following the line to the right of the graph

Using vector concepts, it is found that:

The component form is of approximately (-9.58, 7,22). It means that the ship is about 9.58 miles to the west and about 7.22 miles to the north of where the ship left the port.

How can a vector be represented in component notation?

Given a magnitude M and angle \theta, then a vector V can be represented as follows in component notation:

V = (M\cos{\theta}, M\sin{\theta})

In this problem, the magnitude and the angle are given, respectively, by:

M = 12, \theta = 143^\circ

Hence:

V = [12cos(143º), 12sin(143º)] = (-9.58, 7,22).

Which means a displacement of 9.58 miles to the west(negative x = west) and 7.22 miles to the north(positive y = north).

The component form is of approximately (-9.58, 7,22). It means that the ship is about 9.58 miles to the west and about 7.22 miles to the north of where the ship left the port.

Help with this I don't know how to solve
miv72 [106K]

Answer:

approx 10.25

Step-by-step explanation:

According to Euclid theorem :

EG^2= DG*FG= 16*5=80

From right triangle EDG according to Phitagor's theorem:

DE^2=EG^2+DG^2= 80+25=105

DE=sqrt(105)= approx 10.25

the base of a right rectangular prism has an area of 173.6 square centimeters and height of 9 centimeters. What is the volume, i
saw5 [17]
The formula for the volume of a rectangular prism is: l*w*h (length*width*height)

Since the Base area of a 3D figure is always the length times width of the bottom face, all we need to do to find the volume is multiply the Base area by the height.

173.6 (9) = 1562.4 cubic cm
