Explanation: Chinese civilization started in the valleys of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River because of the fertile silt deposits there that facilitated agriculture and subsequently led to the rise of dynasties.

Yangtze and Yellow rivers are the two main rivers in china which helped in developing ancient civilizations in China. Yellow River is the 6th longest river. It is also known as the framework for Chinese civilization.

Rivers play a great role in establishing a civilization as we can see most of the ancient civilization thrived along with the example of the river:  Indus valley civilization on Indus river, Egyptian civilization on the Nile river, etc. Rivers bring alluvial soils which are very fertile and helps us to do agriculture.
