6x+12=2(x+12)

First you solve 2(x+12)
X is practically 1 and 2 multiplied by 12 is 24 so it would be: 6x+12=2x+24
You then subtract 2x on both sides of the equation meaning you subtract 2x with 2x and 6x-2x that then gives you
4x+12=24
Subtract 12 with 12 and with 24
You get 4x=12
Divide both sides with 4
Your answer is:
X=3

Answer:

x = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify 2(x+12)

6x+12=2x+24

Move all terms containing x to the left side of the equation. 4 x + 12 = 24

Move all terms not containing x to the right side of the equation. 4 x = 12

Divide each term by 4 and simplify.  x = 3

ella [17]

Answer:

1: x = -1

2: x = 3

3: x = -3

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=<u>x^3+x^2</u>−9x−9

f(x)=x^2<u>(</u>x+1) <u>−9x−9</u>

f(x) = x^2<u>(x+1)</u> - 9<u>(x+1)</u>

f(x)= (x+1)<u>(x^2-9)</u>

f(x) =(x+1)(x-3)(x+3)
