What are the three basic questions faced by every economy

Business
2 answers:

The three basic questions asked are:

1. What goods and services should be produced?

This is asked because the economy wants to produce what the consumers want or else the resources aren't being used efficiently since resources are scarce.

2. How should we produce them?

This is asked because the producers don't want to spend unnecessary time or money on production, so they must choose wisely what method of production is best for their company and consumers.

3. Who are the consumers?

This is asked because the producers want to make sure that they are targeting the right people with advertising or selling.

Hope this helped!

When a supplier offers a lower price for a larger quantity, the buyer should: _________
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

The correct option is (c)

Explanation:

Return on investment measures the attractiveness  with respect to an investment. It evaluates the efficiency of a particular investment as compared to other investment opportunities.

It is computed by subtracting cost of investment from current value and divide the result by the cost.

In this case, buyer should estimate the return on investment in purchasing larger quantity to get discount and compare it with other investment opportunities. If it offers higher returns, then the buyer should go for this.

101<br>d Discuss whether or not gold rings can carry out the functions of money. (8)
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

Money is called any element that works in a given territory as a method of exchange of wealth and as a reserve of value, that is, it can be exchanged between individuals for other goods, and that in turn can be accumulated by each individual to add to your personal wealth. In this context, almost any item that has been commonly accepted as having these characteristics can be considered money. However, there are circumstances in which, either due to their lack of storage practicality, or their high value in itself, certain elements escape this possibility. This is the case of a gold ring, whose excessively high value and the impossibility of its fractionation take away the possibility of being used as a method of exchange.
