What is plot? Give me a example. please help me asap

A plot is where the main part of the story takes place, It's the climax of the story, the part where you would usually discover the meaning, or theme of the story. It's where the conflict it resolved. An example, is when the stepsisters of cinderella's feet don't fit but Cinderella's does, after that, she's no longer a slave and gets to live happily ever after and stuff.
