How do you write a good poem?

In addition to rhymes, poems need a structure. A paragraph is simply one example. There are many forms of poems such as haikus, sonnets, acrostic, etc. A free style poem is more about feelings and painting a picture, it can be a very powerful tool. But rhyming is not usually present in said poem. I would start of with a rhyming poem, imo those are v good. It can be the last letter of each line, or like a sonnet, switch off what rhymes in each line.
