X= number of belts

multiply $14.76 times number of belts sold, add $50 and set this equal to $475.00.

$14.76x + $50= $475.00
subtract 50 from both sides

14.76x= 425.00
divide both sides by 14.76

x= 28.794 belts

* since we cannot sell partial belts, round up to the next whole number

ANSWER: The store must sell a minimum of 29 belts.

Hope this helps! :)

Answer:

a. 1/2

b. 1 hair cut

c. 2.5

Step-by-step explanation:

4/8 divde by 4 to simplify and that gets you 1/2

8/4 is 2 so he does one hair cut every two hours

so you know how many he can do in 2 hours so add it up. It’s going to be 2 people in four hours so it will be half a hair cut in 5 hours

Alan is paying a dinner check but he was not sure how much he should tip for his bill of $27 and thirty-eight. if a standard tip
morpeh [17]
So you need to find 15% of $27.38. To do this you can multiply 27.38 * .15 and get 4.107. Round to $4.11 and this is the tip. The total bill would be $31.49

\\x_{1,2}= \frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} }{2a} = \frac{-(-3)\pm \sqrt{(-3)^2-4\times1\times9} }{2\times1} =\frac{3\pm \sqrt{-27} }{2} =\frac{3\pm 3\sqrt{3}i }{2}

A statistics professor plans classes so carefully that the lengths of her classes are uniformly distributed between 46.046.0 and
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

The probability of selecting a class that runs between 50.2550.25 and 51.2551.25 minutes is 0.10

Step-by-step explanation:

The Uniform Distribution, also known as Rectangular Distribution, is a type of Continuous Probability Distribution. It has a continuous random variable restricted to a finite interval and its probability function has a constant density during this interval.

The formula of probability if given by:

f(x)=

\left \{ {{\frac{1}{b-a}; \ a \leq x \leq b  } \atop {0}; \ x \ otherwise } \right.

In this exercise a= 46.0 and b= 56.0

The probability of selecting a class that runs between 50.2550.25 and 51.2551.25 minutes is:

\int\limits^{51.25}_{50.25} {\frac{1}{56-46} } \, dx = \int\limits^{51.25}_{50.25} {\frac{1}{10} } \, dx = \frac{1}{10} \times (51.25 - 50.25)=\frac{1}{10}=0.1
