During the Stanford experiment guards and prisoners were randomly chosen. They developed roles as officers who applied authoritarian measures by subjecting prisoners to psychological torture. This was similar when the U.S soldiers subjected the Iraqi soldiers to humiliation at Abu Ghraib. The prisoners accepted psychological abuses where U.S soldiers photographed and took pictures of the Iraqi soldiers which was similarly done to prisoners of the Stanford experiment where certain portions of the experiment were filmed.

A historian has made the claim that too much is being made of the cold war and that it was never a significant threat to world p
musickatia [10]

Answer:

Today, we tell about the period known as the Cold War.

The Cold War began after World War Two. The main enemies were the United States and the Soviet Union.

The Cold War got its name because both sides were afraid of fighting each other directly. In a "hot war," nuclear weapons might destroy everything. So, instead, both sides fought each other indirectly. They supported opposing sides in conflicts in different parts of the world. They also used words as weapons. They threatened and denounced each other. Or they tried to make each other look foolish.
