The picture in the other answer shows that its a straight line and I think its made like that because you subtract 2 which probably makes the lime straight the you add 3 to straighten the other end

angle 1 and angle 2 are complementary the measure of angle 2 is 15 degrees less than twice the measure of angle one what is the
Liula [17]
Hi there!

Let's use x as our variable. We know that complementary angles add up to 90 degrees. So, angle 1 is equal to x. Then, we can figure out that angle 2 is equal to 2x - 15. Then, to solve for x, we need to set the value of angle 1 plug angle 2 equal to 90, since the angles are complementary.

WORK:
x + 2x - 15 = 90
3x - 15 = 90
3x = 105
x = 35

ANSWER:
x = 35

Hope this helps!! :)

A circle has its center at (1, 4) and a radius of 2 units. What is the equation of the circle?
Levart [38]

Answer:

(x-1)^2+(y-4)^2=4.

Step-by-step explanation:

So the standard form of a circle is (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2 where (h,k) is the center and r is the radius.

You are given (h,k)=(1,4) and r=2.

So we are going to plug in 1 for h, 4 for k, and 2 for r:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

(x-1)^2+(y-4)^2=2^2

(x-1)^2+(y-4)^2=4.
