What is norovirus?

Norovirus or known as food poison virus is uncurable and often goes on their own. There is no medications needed to take when you have encountered this virus.  

Causes and Symptoms

The causes of this virus are the following:

  • Eating or drinking contaminated water or food  
  • Unwashing of hands
  • Having a contact with a person with the disease
  • Staying in a close place with plenty of people because there might be a chance that someone has the virus and you get too close to him or her.

Some of these symptoms might appear but there is no guarantee that it is a norovirus. You must consult your doctor to be sure:

  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • diarrhea
  • fever and hills
  • stomach cramps

These symptoms are normally occuring to a person with food poison.  

Treatment and diagnosis

To diagnose this disease getting a stool sample might require by your doctor or physician.

As for the treatment, there is no treatment for this. But doctors might advice you to stay hydrated and eat healthy to prevent complications that you can get from diarrhea and fever.
