Answer:

Szymborska's overall opinion of humanity in "A Contribution to Statistics" is overall positive

Step-by-step explanation:

Szymborska is a poet who likes to comment on society with irony and sarcasm. One example of this is when she splits people into categories in her poem “A Contribution to Statistics”. Here Szymborska’s overall opinion of humanity may seem negative due to her bluntness and dry humor. For example, she says in the tenth stanza, “cruel when forced by circumstances -better not to know even ballpark figures.” It’s implied in this line that most people (maybe even all)are cruel or can be. She also says, “taking only things from life -thirty”which comments how lots of people are selfish. However, this seemingly cynical poem takes a sweeter turn near the end with statistics like, “worthy of compassion - ninety-nine” and “mortal- a hundred out of a hundred.” These lines reveal that even though Szymborska believes that humanity is extremely flawed the mass majority of us deserve and are worthy of love. Plus the fact that we’re all mortal may seem dark but the fact remains that both the righteous and the sinners will all end up in the same place. The fact that no one can escape

death gives humans equality in a way. Szymborska’s overall opinion of humanity turned out to be more optimistic after all.

1. Pros: Reasons to keep using fossil fuels - ( 4 points )
Strike441 [17]

Answer: Reasons to keep using fossil fuels: well since our place is so used to using fossil fuels it will take time for them to find other benefits that won't hurt our environment so fossil fuels is also what gives us what we have today without fossil fuels the world may be a horrible place

Cons: Reasons to stop using fossil fuels: Stop using fossil fuels because this virus that we have today has something to do with the fossil fuels which causes it to mutate which brings in the 5G towers and thoes contain tons of fossil fuels. Fossil fuels may seem good for certain things but there is much other things that they can use, we're smart enough especially if we can find ways to look on other planets, we can find ways to reduce the use of fossil fuels

Which of the following settings best create fear or anxiety? Falling snow Sunrise Open fields Decaying trees
Lerok [7]
A sunrise most definitely cannot be associated with either of those things, the sun is most often symbolic of something good or happy. Falling snow also does not create a sense of fear or anxiety, when thinking of snow I think of peace and quiet, serenity. Some might even feel happy or joywhen thinking about snow because it is most often associated with Christmas. I also think that an open field does not stir feelings of fear, that is unless you give details or descriptions to make it scary. I would say a setting with decaying trees best creates fear and anxiety. The word decay literally means " the state or process of rotting or decomposition". It is associated with death, and death is most often viewed as frightening and mysterious. Hope this helps .
