The formula to follow to solve this problem is F=GmM/ r2 where G is the gravitational constant, 6.67*10^-11, m is mass of the man, M is the mass of the earth and r is the distance. The distance of the north pole is earth is 6751 km while that at the equator is 6378 km. Mass of the earth is 5.97E24 kg. Substituting, the weight at the north pole is 637.80 N and that at the equator is 714.59 N. The difference is 76.79 N.

Find slope of -2,3 and 4,-5
bulgar [2K]
-2,3 is (x1,y1) and (4,-5) is (x2,y2) so you do y2-y1/x2-x1

y2-y1 is -5-3 which is -8 and x2-x1 is 4-(-2) which is 6 so you get

-8/6= -4/3

A stage in the shape of a semi circle had a diameter of 42 ft. What is area of the stage? Use 22/7 for π. PLZ I NEED FAST TEST
zavuch27 [327]

A semi circle is half a full circle. Find the area of the full circle and divide it by 2.

Area of a circle = pi x r ^2

R is half the diameter

Area of full circle:

Area = 22/7 x 21^2

Area = 1386 sq. Ft

Area of stage = 1386/2 = 693 square feet
