15. If m arc BY = 40 degrees, what is m angle YAC? the figure is not drawn to scale.

If m\widehat{BY}=40^\circ, then the central angle \angle BOY has the same measure, and by the inscribed angle theorem we have

m\angle BAY=\dfrac12m\angle BOY=20^\circ

It's impossible to know what the measure of angle YAC is from this information alone, but assuming AC is tangent to the circle, then angles BAY and YAC are complementary, so that m\angle YAC=70^\circ.

Name the property of real numbers illustrated by the equation. 5•1/5=1
Lubov Fominskaja [6]
As we can see multiplication of 5 and 1/5 is 1. It is obtained by inverse property of multiplication because according to this if number multiply by its reciprocal is equal to one.

And we can say 1/5 is a reciprocal of 5.

So it is inverse property.

So option b is correct.

How do I find the n in A=P(1+(r/n)^(nt)?
dmitriy555 [2]
This is the formula for compounded interest.
P is the principal investment,
r is the rate (6%=0.06)
n is the number of times compounded per year (n=12 is monthly, n=2 is twice per year)
T is the number of years past
And A is the amount of money after t years with a rate r compounded n times per year staring at P amount
Final answer:
n is the number of times per year the interest is compounded.
Hope I helped, and sorry it took this long for you to get an answer.

Create a story context for the following expression.<br> 1/3 x ($20 - $3.20)

Haydn made a scale model of a building. The actual height of the building is 75 feet. Haydn's model used a scale in which 1.5 inc
elixir [45]

Answer:

3.75 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the height in inches of Haydn's model we have to look at the scale he is unsing. He is using a 1.5 In: 30 ft scale. so every 30 feet of the building is 1.5 inches of the model. divide the 75 by 30 feet  to see how many times the 30 feet are used. 75 divided by 30 is 2.5. Now since we know that 30 occurse 2.5 times we can multiply 1.5 * 2.5. remimber for every 30 feet of the actual building there is 1.5 inches in the model. 1.5 * 2.5= 3.75 which gies us our answer.

75/30=2.5

1.5 * 2.5=3.75

hope that makes sence. :)
