Roesetta Stone is a carved stone that helped decode hieroglyphics

Explanation:

Rosetta stone is a prehistoric Egyptian rock stele in which the pronouncements issued by the young king Ptolemy V were emblazoned. It’s a fixed series of instructions which is written in three lettering and they are Hieroglyphic script, demotic script and lower section of the rock is etched in Greek.

Many historians decoded hieroglyphics which paved way for them to unravel many Egyptian mysteries. The stele was engraved in three languages because these languages were in vogue during the ancient rule of Egyptian kings. Many of the sentences were in praise of the Egyptian sovereigns and their triumphs in battles.
