1. Anthropologists believe the Nazca culture created the major part of the Nazca Lines.

2. These lines are drawings on the ground which were made by removing rocks and an image (either plant, animal or human) was created. These lines can only be seen from air or from height.

3. Nazca people used successful engineering techniques to bring underground water to the surface for irrigation. Theories are believed that these Nazca lines helped them in doing so.

Researchers have questions that how the created lines were so accurate in their detailing by the Nazca people. For example, the details of the image of the spider that was drawn are so accurate. Also, the method of construction remains unanswered.
