Jacksonian policies protected equal rights of workers and demanded equal opportunuties for the white men. However, the representatives of Jcksonian policy, did nothing to help people of colour and many of them were even pro-slavery. Apart from this, Jackson totally ignored the role of women in society, considering them a threat to the white male infrastructure. Some of these prejudices can be observed in modern American society, but they are in minority, since the modern philosophy of this country is equality, mutual respect and democracy.
