The Study of people and their literal environments.

Further Explanation:

The study of places, as well as the relationships between the people and their environment, is known as geography. The people who explore the physical, as well as the study related to the surface of the earth, are known as geographers. The word Geography came from ancient as they were looking for the word which will describe writings and maps which helped them to make sense of the world. In the Greek language, “Geo” means Earth and “Graphy” means to write.

Geography is also the one which examines how human culture interacts with the environment and its locations and places may have an impact on the people. The basic idea of Geography is to understand where the things are found and when and how people came there and what are the changes which those people acquired over time.
