Explanation: For almost the entire period of its founding, until the end of WWII, the United States emphasized the importance of its neutral policy and isolationism. After WWII America realized that it was time to get involved in solving international problems with regard to preventing any future indication of fascism and Nazism. On this basis, America has grown into a decisive factor in international politics.
