Its really quite well written; it was really emotional. Just some small changes: In the third line of the 3rd stanza, it should be "They're afraid to go to school" , not "their".

also, i would recommend removing "but" in the 4th stanza.

and the last line of the piece tells the people to be crazy, which im sure you didnt mean. I think it should be "be sane" or "don't be insane"

really nice writing though.

It's great! I would change some of the more graphic parts just a little, but other than that it's great! I'm entering one, too.

What might Grendel's mother's desire for revenge reveal about Anglo-Saxon culture?
Setler [38]

Answer:

Anglo-Saxon culture that it was important to risk your life to win battles, especially battles for revenge of loved ones. The big mother presents this aspect of Anglo-Saxon culture because she risks to fight and avenge her son's death.

Explanation:

The Anglo-Saxon heroic code put the battles on a level of high importance, for them the battles were more important than life itself. This intensified when the battle was aimed at avenging a relative or a friend. For the Anglo-Saxons a true warrior would risk his own life if it meant getting revenge for vile acts that someone committed with his loved ones.

Grendel's mother is a strong example of this concept, as she sets out to fight the powerful warrior who killed her son to avenge him. She knows that the warrior can kill her too, but she prefers to risk her own life so that her son can be avenged.

i need help on writing a page on Dr.Shirley Jackson it need to be 3 pargahs longand don' t know how to start it at all

Alright, you should need an introduction.

First of all, the introduction needs to have a grabbing sentence that will interest the reader, and make them want to know MORE. Secondly, you must include a thesis statement in order to inform the readers on what your topic is, and what you will be talking about.

Second of all, the body paragraphs need to include facts and evidence. you must site everything in order to not plagiarize.

Third of all, the conclusion needs to be at the end, and it needs to restate the thesis.

Answer:

The central idea is developed through the relationship that the author makes between the construction of buildings and human construction.

Explanation:

In "Don't Hate on the Trait", the author tries to explain how a human being is built physically and intimately. For that he makes a simple and very intelligent relationship about how a building is built. The author shows that several details and factors are necessary to build a building that works perfectly, in the same way the human being is built through the genes donated by his mother and father, who provide all the physical details of this construction, and, through environment that provides all the details that build the individual's personality and behavior.
