For exeample, except for JFK and Trump, all of our presidents have been Protestant, with JFK being catholic and Trump being like a christian. Many of these values are rooted in the Republican party. They affect things like abortion, which the Pope condems, homoseuality, which the bible condems, and the idea of charitable donations, which are rooted in jesus's teachings, are part of our society
