Which lines express desperation in this excerpt from Sir Philip Sidney's Sonnet 1?
Pavel [41]

On Plato, "Biting my traunt pen, beating myself for spite--" would be correct. But I'm not sure about the other line. It could be "Thus, great with child to speak, and hopeless in my throes," Here is a photo to help. :)

Make a speech about linguistic prejudice
Nutka1998 [239]

I believe that when it comes to linguistic prejudice it is a problem in which people are just choosing to be ignorant because they hate a northern southern or any other accent on words when it comes to the language they speak because most of them "hate" hearing cowboys or rednecks and cowboys and rednecks hate hearing city people and gangsters but all in all they all speak the same language and i believe that it wouldn't make a big difference if people cared less about the way each other speak but more about the message behind the words spoken we could learn a lot more from each other that way because an old cowboy and a gangster probably have some good advice when it comes to bad decisions that they can spread to other people to help them from making the same mistakes.
