First, lets solve for the slope (y2-y1/x2-x1).

= 1-(-2)/12-6

= 3/6

= 1/2

Second, find the y-intercept of the line.

y = 1/2x + b

-2 = 1/2(6) + b

-2 = 3 + b

-2 - 3 = 3 - 3 + b

-5 = b

Third, put this information into the final slope-intercept form equation (y = mx + b).

y = 1/2x - 5

Best of Luck!

Are these parallel, perpendicular, or neither?
Elina [12.6K]
Answer: I think it’s neither

Explanation:

The line is parallel unless the slope is the same and with a different y-intercept

The line are perpendicular unless the one of the slope is the negative reciprocal of the other.

And both equation didn’t meet any of the requirement.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The first expression has value 12

The second expression has value -6

The third expression has value

4

And finally the forth expression has value 1.14

((13 + 7) = 20

(12+4) = 16

16/ (20 - 16)= 16 / 4

The pool at "Splash Around" is open for 14 weeks during the summer. You can swim for $6 a session, or you can buy a membership f
iris [78.8K]
Price before membership= price 1 = $6
price after membership = price 2 = $4
Membership price = $100
SO according to price 1 and price 2; price after membership saves up $2 for each session.
Hence to justify the price of membership number of sessions can be calculated as follows:-
$2 saved = 1 session
to make it $100 multiply both sides by 50
2×50 = 1×50
100$ saved = 50 sessions
so 50 sessions ate required to justify buying the membership.

Hope this helped :)
