Answer:

\frac{60}{360}  \times  \: \pi \ {x}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

I haven't done this in a while, so I am very sorry if it is wrong, but I believe you take the angle measure of the part of the circle you need and put it over 360 then multiply by the formula for the area of a circle.

Solve for x: 3|x-3| 2=14<br> a. No solution<br> b. x=-1,x=8.3<br> c. x=0,x=7<br> d. x=-1,x=7
VMariaS [17]
I am looking  on the answers, and there is only one case, when a or b or c or d pass:   3|x-3| + 2 = 14.  So I assume, that before two is plus. Then:

3|x-3|+2=14    |minus 2
3|x-3|=12        |divide 3
|x-3|=4

From absolute value definition you've got two ways:

x-3=4     or     x-3=-4
x=7        or     x=-1

And  answer d) passes

The perimeter of a rectangular playground is 46m. If the length of the park is 7m, what is the width of the park?
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

16m

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the length of the park is 7m, then the other side is also 7m so 46-14 is 32. So 32/2 is 16.
