Answer:In my opinion i think Anne did not have a good relationship with Edith but she is an excellent mother. Anne fell in love with Peter whom she talked about everything that bothered them(the other son of another family in hiding). and worried that her parents might disagree and decided to tell them so Otto(Anne's father) rejected saying he didnt want him to be with Anne.Later she fell out of love.
