Answer:

a. undergo complete metamorphosis and have segmented bodies

c. undergo complete metamorphosis and have an exoskeleton

Explanation:

Insects are the members of the phylum Arthropoda. They have jointed legs. Their body is segmented externally into the head, thorax and abdomen. Their body is covered by an exoskeleton. Exoskeleton formed from thick non-living cuticle which is made of chitin. In them, fertilization is internal. They are mostly oviparous. Development is direct or may be indirect. In the case of indirect development, there is complete metamorphosis.

All insects are "C"

Undergo a complete metamorphosis and have an exoskeleton.

Further Explanation

Insects commonly called insectum, are derived from Greek which means cut into several parts is one class of invertebrates in the arthropod phylum that has an exoskeleton kitin, body parts are divided into three parts, namely the head, thorax, and abdomen.

Insects, including one of the most diverse groups of animals, encompass more than one million species and represent more than half of the known living organisms. The science that deals with insect life are called entomology. Insects are included in the class of insects which are divided into 29 orders including:

- Diptera

-Coleoptera

-Hymenoptera

-Lepidoptera

-Apterigota (consisting of 4 orders)

-Plerigota (consisting of 25 orders)

One reason why insects have high diversity and abundance is their high reproductive capacity. Insects reproduce in a very large number of genes, and in some species can even reduce several generations in one year.

Insects generally experience "perfect metamorphosis", which is a life cycle with several different stages: starting with eggs, larvae, pupae, and imago. Some orders that undergo perfect metamorphosis are Lepidoptera, Diptera, Coleoptera, and Hymenoptera.

Body growth is controlled by using a reference to weight gain. Usually in the form of a ladder where each ladder is depicted by the release of old skin, where this process is called molting. Therefore, at each stage, insects grow to the extent that the outer wrapping becomes limited, after being abandoned again and so on.
