They were angry at German Leaders for losing the wars to the Allies.

After the war, German's people were the one that incredibly suffered because of the decision of their leaders. all of their food supply was blocked by the allies, their economic condition was ruined, etc

The German people felt devastated about their nation after World War I. They were made to believe that they were winning the war. Their civilians also suffered from starvation especially that there non-ally countries blocked the food supply. They also suffered too much trauma with losing people and violence during the war.
