Tybalt’s death also results in Lord Capulet’s decision to force Juliet to marry Count Paris. When Friar John is quarantined due to the plague, he is unable to deliver Friar Laurence’s letter to Romeo. Romeo believes the news that Juliet is dead and makes the hasty decision to kill himself to join her in death.
