Distance of two points can be calculaetd using formula:
d= \sqrt{ ( x_{2}- x_{1}  )^{2}+ ( y_{2}- y_{1}  )^{2} }
Here x1 and y1 are coordinates of point A and x2 and y2 are coordinates of point B.

Now we insert numbers into formula:
d= \sqrt{ (-4- 0)^{2}+( 6- 1 )^{2} } = \sqrt{16+25} = \sqrt{41} =6.4

Which statement best describes the situation shown in graph B?
dybincka [34]
A- Graph B shows exponential growth of a population.
Graph B is a type of exponential equation where y=a(b)^x

"a" is the initial value that intercepts the y-axis in the above equation.

"b" is the value that every value thereafter is growing (multiplying by). Note, if "b" is 1- your value is not growing (since it is staying at it's original 100%). If "b" is, for example 1.5 your value is growing by 50% each time (1 gives you your original 100%, and the .5 gives you an additional 50% on top of that).

"x" is your input, and here it is the exponent because you are multiplying "b" to the power of your input for each value.

A narrow region between two air masses of different densities is a
Troyanec [42]
<span>A weather front or front is a narrow region between two air masses of different densities. The answer is letter C. Because of the difference in density between warm and cold front, cold air tends to go underneath the warmer air. It often creates the strongest winds above the ground surface. This is caused due to the heat and mass transfer between particles of air. They can be slowed down by the presence of mountains and valleys. Cold air moves fast and the temperature around it can be felt as if you are blown away due to its density. Whereas warm air moves slowly.</span>
