The walkers pay 22 for 2 adult tickets and one child ticket so we can say:

2a+c=22, The question wants to find the cost of a child ticket so solve this for a...

2a=22-c

a=(22-c)/2

Now we are told that the Goodmans by 26 for one adult and three childrens tickets so:

a+3c=26, now use (22-c)/2 in this equation for a and you get:

(22-c)/2+3c=26

(22-c+6c)/2=26

22+5c=52

5c=30

c=6

So a child's ticket costs £6.00

Allushta [10]

Answer:

3.278 * 10 ^ 2

Step-by-step explanation:

To change a number to scientific notation you:

Move the decimal point to the left to make the number have 1 number before the decimal point.

From there you multiply by 10 to the power 2 the number of decimal points you moved.

So the answer is 3.278 * 10^2

Find the sum of the interior angle measures of the polygon.
Ainat [17]

Answer:

1080 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the interior angles of any polygon is:

Sum = (n - 2) * 180

Where n represents the number of vertices of the polygon

This polygon has 8 vertices so:

(8-2) * 180 = 6*180 = 1080 degrees

Kaylis [27]

Answer:

  9/2

Step-by-step explanation:

It is the ratio between y-values for consecutive x-values. Perhaps the easiest two points to work with are ...

  (x, y) = (0, 1), (1, 9/2)

The rate of change you're looking for is (9/2)/1 = 9/2.
