Answer: C. Throw the poisoned entrails into the cauldron.

Explanation:

The three witches (or 'weird sisters') are supernatural creatures from Shakespeare's Macbeth. They make a prophecy about Macbeth's future at the beginning of the play, predicting that Macbeth would become a king.

In Act IV, Scene I, the witches are dancing around the cauldron and adding some ingredients into it - poisoned entrails, wolf's tooth, a frog's tongue, etc. They are preparing a strange potion. After the potion is finished, Macbeth enters the stage, determined to find out the truth about the witches' prophecies.

Which of the following is the strongest claim for an argumentative research paper?
sdas [7]

The correct answer is C. Adding another traffic light will help ease traffic on Main Street

Explanation:

An argumentative essay is an academical paper in which the author wants to probe a main argument or claim he/she believe is correct, this claims should be supported by reasons, arguments, and evidence. Due to this, the main argument or claim, called thesis needs to show the position of the author related to one topic and not only a fact, but it should also be clear and specific as only one position can be included in the claim. In this case, Adding another traffic light will help ease traffic on Main Street is the strongest claim as it expresses the position of the author related to the traffic on Main Street and how to reduce it, also it is clear and supports only one position that leads to multiple reasons the author would have to explain to support the main claim or thesis statement. Additionally, other options do only express facts or things that can be observed or inferred, but not a position which is the main point of a claim.

kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

This is because Whitman doesn't consider these people as part of the working class. They have not toiled in the dirt or in the rank sweat of a factory. Politicians and rich men do not know what physical toil is nor are they relegated to survival for much of their life.
